phpnet.us
godaddy.com
freehostia

any suggestions?

dont mind paying, but free would be nice =)

Here's where Google is nice, you can check out reviews on virtually anything:
Phpnet.us - Bad Experience (also includes negative reference to freehostia)

Then again, freehostia gets some good reviews too.

GoDaddy ranks pretty highly in some places.

I would like to suggest Weebly. A free web host - allows you to register it as well if you would like to pay - that is mainly WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get.) It apparently is as well one of the top 100 visited sites in the United States.
