He went out well, some people think kicking it on the bucket is undignified but its a lot more dignified than crapping yourself.

He was completely pushed to his death. He had been suffering from drepression along with alcoholism (fueling the depression) and the only way he could cope with all of the shows he was being pushed to do and perform, was to start doing drugs. He was embarrassed to perform his last shows in such a terrible way that he drank more and ate more untill his untimely passing.
Its just sad how greed can blind someone to another persons pain. The man that fuled the alcohol and the drugs was not a friend but an enemy. This man was "Colonel'' Tom Parker, Elvis' manager for 22 years. I'd say there was something fishy going on because in the early years of Elvis' carrer, Parker received 25 percent of Presley's income.
But as you can see in 1967, The Colonel increased his take to 50 percent. Why would the most succesful recording artist give 50% of his total earnings? Who knows, but its known that Elivis wasn't helped by the people around him and that they used him for their own piece of the pie.
RIP Elvis!!

If the drugs didnt kill him the autopsy certainly did.
*takes a deep breath*
Look at celebertys around us today, sure they don't give 50% away but they are very, very generous. Just because he did this, it wasn't any signal that he was about to do somethingThe Colonel increased his take to 50 percent. Why would the most succesful recording artist give 50% of his total earnings?
