I'm downloading the Nero Reloaded files right now, and I can tell an improvement in the download speed.

I've downloaded a bunch of stuff for the lightscribe drive, so I probably already have it.

When you install Nero, try custom install and set Nero Vision and Burning Rom to install all, run all from drive, the rest is optional, though if the drive has the room, running it all from the drive is fine

Do you mean that I should now put my original disc back in and install it, after I've already installed the updates?

You should be downloading the complete thing, packages 1 and 2 for the video

Packages 3 and 4 if you want those

So, although it says updates, Nero updates are always the complete programme

In that case, I had it installed before your previous reply. The lightscribe feature still doesn't work. I don't know what to do now. Also, something weird is happening with my sonic dvd program. Some files are missing from it or something and it keeps trying to find them.

Do you have an HP recovery drive D

Does it install Sonic or just keep showing those?

I have a recovery disk D. I think it's trying to install it, but it can't for some reason. Those message boxes just keep popping up.

Does Sonic update manager find anything

Otherwise you should be able to find the Sonic installer on HP D drive

As for Nero, you may need to ask them why it won't recognise the drive

Click start, click my computer, if you have HP D drive, right click it, click explore, look for Sonic, double click the set up file
