This aggravating window eventually pops up after I've gone a few links away from a page and it ALWAYS pops up as I try to access a web page builder site where I'm trying to set up a web page for an internet business. Once it pops up, it doesn't matter what button I hit, everything is then frozen and I have to shut the power down. My ISP says they can't help. Much appreciative of any help. Thanx,
Sue

Hi Kevin,
As soon as I try to download the ATF Cleaner, I get the Microsoft error window and I get shut down. I've tried 4 times.
Thank you for your help

Try downloading all those programs from another computer and either burn them to a CD or copy them to a USB flash drive if you have one. Then come back to this computer and install those programs from the CD (or USB flash drive).

HI. Well, my research had me going hither and yon. Finally Microsoft stepped in and advised some latest updates. Sorry I can't remember more, I work 3rd shift and am past my bedtime...however, what has worked is to right click the IE icon which is now on my desk top and sign on with Add-ons disabled! Worked like a charm. I'm not very detail oriented when it comes to computer work so I don't know what I may be missing out on by not having the add-ons. Wait - today I went on the net with the add-ons enabled and didn't get the boot! So, what do you think of all this? It works. I'm happy. For now anyway. Thanks for your time. Good night, good day. Susan
