I recently reconfigured my wireless connection - changed its name and password. I have an Eee Pc and it now will not connect - even to the neighbors unsecured network :0

when checking the IP address it has none listed - not all Zeros - no IP is listed at all. So, I tried to renew my IP address and it states "No operation can be performed on Local Area Network Connection while it has its media disconnected."

What do I do?

You must change the password first on the wireless router (via it's configuration web-page), then enter the same password on your computer's wireless settings software.

If you changed only the password on your computer's wireless software, you will lose the connection because the two passwords no longer match. You have to change the password on both devices, not just one of them.
