I have been trying to install an nvidia 8800gt video card on an Asus p5n-d Motherboard.
I have tryed new and old drivers for chipset, video drivers, and upgraded bios to newest version.
after I install the drivers from nvidia, vista starts to boot, green bars go by, and then it hangs on black screen.
I have to disable the 8800gt video driver in device manager then vista loads. ok
after I disable it I get this message on restart.

Hi Thanks for all the answers. on the other forum.
Nvidia solved it. we tryed different chipset drivers we found one that worked.
Asus had me try there's they did not work.
Also I had to delete 2 vista updates that Dell had put on install cd.
that did not go with this motherboard.
