HP Mini 110 XP installation

System HP mini 110
Hard Drive PM-Samsung HM160HI

Put in system disk and installation starts but hangs up and says there is not hard drive to install system. Hard Drive shows up in bios installed ubuntu and erased as a test but XP will not find drive. How can I Fdisk the drive there in no floppy or cd
