I have windows XP. The fatal system error also says " the window logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000135(0x00000000 0x00000000) The system has been shut down.
I have tried to start in safe mode... safe mode with command prompt... last known good config and debugging mode with no success. I've tried to boot from the original installation disk but it keeps going to the blue screen. I cant figure out how to change the boot order in the BIOS because I don not receive the prompt to press the key to enter the BIOS screen. Is there anything else I can try or is it the repair shop for me?

Please provide information about your computer, this includes is it a notebook or desktop, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if it is provide the model name or series number (not serial) providing these details will enable others to better assist you.

Once we have the above details we can make some suggestions starting with how to access the BIOS if appropriate.

Hello knufee,

The only way to face BSOD on your computer is to know what is the cause of it.
It can be an upgrade or you have installed a new ram, memory card, which is not compatible with the other components of your computer, you can do windows repair application, see to it if you can repair the file which is needed for your system in order to start your operating system without the blue screen of death, you need to restart the computer and if you still encounter the blue screen of death check if you install new driver on your computer it may be the one whose causing your problem, check the device driver and see to it if you need to upgrade the driver make sure its updated. And if it still there after you have updated your drivers then you might need to reformat your operating system, but before you do that make sure to back up all your important files so that you can still use it in the future.
You can also check detailed methods and steps to solve this here http://www.techyv.co...ow-can-i-fix-it

Christopher Marks ...none of your suggestions are helpful when the OP says he can't boot at all and is still trying to get the system to boot from the cd drive
