I have seen a bad battery on a laptop cause high Interrupts.  Try shutting down, removing the battery and then booting up without the battery.  Then run Process Explorer again and let's see if Interrupts goes down any.

Using cord that come with laptop and it sits on one of those stands that plugs into usb to help keep it cool

I just felt it but just turned computer on & it is not even warm it is always in floor so can't say if it ever gets hot after using would have to check it out

Yes.  Check it after it's been on for an hour or so.

 

I don't think we have run Speccy yet.  It claims to read the voltages but I'm not sure it's always that accurate.

 

Get the free version of Speccy:

Download, Save and Install it.  Tell it you do not need CCLEANER.    Run Speccy.  When it finishes (the little icon in the bottom left will stop moving), 

File, Save as Text File,  (to your desktop) note the name it gives. OK.  Open the file in notepad and delete the line that gives the serial number of your Operating System.

Looks like Speccy only give me voltages for desktops.  No voltages for laptops.  Good news is that your hard drive is in pretty good shape.  Temps are also reasonable.

 

I've found a program that tells you the voltage on your battery.  Let's see if that tells us anything:

This should download immediately.  Save the file then right click on it and Run as admin.  Accept the defaults.  It should open when it finishes installing.  

 

What voltage does it give for your battery?  (When I installed the program it put three other shortcuts on my desktop.  I just deleted them.  Something about driver update, software update and computer cleaner.  )
