Temperatures looked good with SpeedFan. Here's the repor from Who Crashed.

Conclusion

3 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. Only 2 are included in this report. If dump files are found and they could not be analuzed, it means they are corrupted. Because crash dumps are an emergency measure it is not uncommon for this to happen, however often it points to a problem in the storage stack. It is suggested that you run CHKDSK on your system drive to check your drive for errors.

Thanks again for all your help by the way. This is getting super frustrating though (it's still happening, actually happened at my login screen after booting up and walking away while I was in the shower). Would a fresh full install of Windows fix this whole issue? Having visual effects disabled honestly kinda sucks as well as not being able to control all those RGBs I spent extra money on lol.

Did the NVIDIA driver install OK?

Valorant and Vanguard both uninstalled without issue. Ran Revo Uninstaller afterwards to make sure they were completely gone. Driver seemed to install fine (rebooted afterwards). Can't yet tell if there's any improvement since the black screen issue is so random and intermittent. Also, haven't tried tackling the issue of getting my Armoury crate software up and running yet.

Curses. No S.M.A.R.T. info on your C: drive. It's an Adata SX8200 so I assume their SSD Toolbox software will provide it:

If you don't already have it. Does it show any problems with bad blocks, Reallocated Sectors or error counts?

Something went wrong when you installed Avast (If Speccy is telling the truth). It should have disabled Windows Defender when it installed. You don't really want two anti-viruses running at the same time. They fight each other and slow things down.

You can also disable the wireless on your Desktop. No point in having it running since you are connected via an Ethernet cable.

Open Settings and go to Network & Internet, then open Wi-Fi. Use the "Wi-Fi" option on the right to disable or enable Wi-Fi

I like to cut back on unnecesary traffic so I:

Search for

task scheduler

hit Enter

Click on the arrow in front of Task Scheduler Library then

Click on the arrow in front of Microsoft

Click on the arrow in front of Windows

Click on Application Experience. In the next pane to the right, right click on each Task and Disable. Should be three or four (later versions) tasks.

Click on Customer Experience Improvement Program. In the next pane to the right, right click on each Task and Disable. Should be two tasks.

Download OOSU10.exe:

Download and Save it (You will get a popup while it's downloading. You can X out of it)
then Right click and Run As Admin.
Allow it to make a System Restore Point.
Click on Actions then on Apply Recommended Settings.

Close the program and reboot.

Black screen is still happening by the way. Just occurred for the 2nd time today (1st happening this morning) after a day full of gaming & videos etc

Adata doesn't give you much but it looks OK.

Try running chkdsk /r on one of your other drives see if it will run. I'd do E: since it's small.

chkdsk /r E:

It shouldn't need to reboot but it might ask to dismount the drive. (Let it)

Also try:

chkdsk  /scan  /perf  c:

This doesn't need a reboot but can't fix any problems it finds.

Also what version of Win 10 are you running? Settings then System then About. You should see the Version under Windows Specifications. There were several early version where chkdsk would not run.

Can I see new VEW logs?

Let's run dxdiag

In the Search box type: dxdiag

wait for it to find it. Right click on dxdiag.exe and Run As Admin.

Once it finishes (green line in bottom left goes away)

Save All Information. Point it at your desktop and it should save it as dxdiag.txt.

Exit

Double click on dxdiag.txt and copy and paste the text into a reply.

Appears your GPU has a pair of fans. Are both fans running? Are the heatsinks clean? Leave Speedfan running and set it to monitor the GPU temperature and show in the Systray. Make sure the temp doesn't climb over time.

Chkdsk ran fine on the E: drive (said scanned and found no problems).

I'm running Windows 10 Home edition, 64-bit

Yep both fans on the GPU spin fine (it sometimes doesn't spin if I'm doing pretty much nothing, but when I start up a game or anything that actually needs it it'll spin up) & yep looks all clean to me.
