PotPlayer strange problem

I'm having a problem with PotPlayer media player. Recently, I moved from one residence to another. I removed my graphics card and cooler for the move. After putting my computer back together, my PotPlayer app wouldn't work. It starts slowly, has no audio, and the video freezes after about 20 seconds. The audio is fine in other apps. Videos play normally in VLC and Windows Media Player. I've tried removing and reinstalling PotPlayer and the codecs. I’ve also tried reseating the graphics card and the RAM. It still doesn't work. What could cause this problem?
