Hi everyone. I have an Acer Aspire XC-830 running Windows 11.

I am trying to connect a medical gadget - a Wellue O2 Ring monitor - to a USB port to download the data on it. I did this okay earlier in the year, but have not used it for some time. When trying to download the data now, the O2 Insight Pro program it uses on my PC just says it is not able to connect to the device. I cannot for the life of me work out whether I am doing something wrong, or whether there is something wrong.

If I go into 'This PC' nothing shows up for any of the USB ports, am I wrong in thinking this is not right?

I am sure I must be missing something obvious!

Thank you in advance for any help.

Thanks for this, but I had already seen this link and could not find anything in it that helped.

Really, I would like at this stage to find a way to check whether the cable works okay. I have even doubted myself about whether it is the right cable, if I had somehow got hold of the wrong one. I cannot find another one it could be, though.

I deleted the program and downloaded it again, but that didn't work.

If I plug the cable in, it will charge the ring but not download anything.

Maybe I will have to try to find a way to ask the program makers for help, as I am running out of ideas! :(
