Hi, Is there any way of finding drivers for a Medion Scanner or a proram that will run the scanner?

Below is a copy of the email I sent to the Company:

Dear Customer,

There are no drivers for download for this device. If you have updated to a newer version of windows, the product will unfortunately not work.

You will need to purchase a new product.

I do apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Kind regards,

MEDION Service Team.

My partner does Family History and I have to stop what I am doing to do the scanning of negatives and slides.

The medion does all this but it is dead without drivers.

Or is there a devise I could buy ?

Regards

if you wish to not buy a new scanner you could install Virtual box

Then run an os that you had and it worked on.

Not the best solution but a workable one.

does this work?

I ran the exe and it installed scan wizard 5.

I could not continue past starting as it wanted to find a scanner which I do not own.

If it does not work then we will try a manual install with the files it extracted

Hi Trusted Tech,

Sorry for the delay but Covid caught up with me and I had to spend some time in hospital.

I will try the Virtual Box first chance I get,
