Hi Folks,

This morning I tried installing an old copy of Photoshop Elements 9 on my new Dell AIO (Windows 11). Once done I was prompted to restart, but I was then unable to reboot and couldn't get past the Dell logo. After several hours of troubleshooting I was able to regain access by reverting to the last repair point.

Elements is now there in my apps, but when I try to open it just crashes. When I try and go through the uninstall process I get the message "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". I've tried running Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, but that doesn't seem to have helped.

I'm not really sure what to try next so would appreciate any guidance!

Try using the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool in safe mode.

Thanks. Have just tried uninstalling in safe mode as well as the Adobe tool, but with the same result as before.

EDIT: It was suggested that I try Revo Uninstaller, I downloaded the free version and this appears to have done the job. I've manually removed any residual folders from Program Files etc which I assume should be fine?

Yes that's fine. Glad you got it sorted.
